We have a the honor of hosting someone that has done so much for our dear IDF Chayalim, Yakir Wachstock, founder and director of Boots for Israel.

Boots for Israel started with a phone call To Yakir just a few days after October 7th. Israeli General Daniel Jacobs heard there might be someone in Queens, that could help his unit get the tactical military boots they so desperately needed. Yakir knew that he needed to find a way to help the IDF and so he did not hesitate to answer the call for action.

Since then Yakir has been traveling the globe, talking to shuls and schools about Boots for Israel. He shares Torah along with stories of Divine providence and seeing Hashem's hand in helping a small group of volunteers get over 78,000 pairs of boots to Chayalim on the front line.
